ABOUT THE ARTIST
Oghenekome Ugbehe (born September 23, 1987), known professionally as Kome is a Nigerian artist, singer, songwriter, and a fashion enthusiast. He found his love for music in the motherland and graced the stage of major music shows in Port-Harcourt Nigeria. After a swift relocation to the UK to further his education, Kome has now returned to the music scene after bagging himself a bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking and a master’s degree in International Business Management.
As a Solo Artist, Kome has written all his songs himself; most of them produced, mixed and mastered by BigMarcus who is currently one of the greatest producers musically in the Nigerian afrobeat scene. Kome has also worked with other talented producers namely, OneManBand, Darren Carikas, Hez Thuo amongst several others.
In 2016, Kome started his own Music line TYB and has been stacking lots of amazing sounds which are to be streamed on all major outlets like YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc.

BACKGROUND
Born and raised in Port Harcourt home of legendary artists like Burna Boy, Duncan Mighty, Timaya Kome’s role models were singers like Boys 2 Men, Chris Brown, Styl Plus, Wande Coal, 112, Sisquo, Kci and Jojo. Following the lead of such vocal trailblazers, the talented young singer won a host of local talent shows and a recording contract with D’Largge Records by age 18.
As a youth growing up in the rugged streets of Port Harcourt, Kome’s passion for music was kindled by the truth and rights message and revolutionary sound of the legendary Bob Marley and The Wailers, backed by the soulful harmonies of the I-Three’s reggae queens Judy Mowatt, Marcia Griffiths and Rita Marley.
DISCOGRAPHY
Kome’s talent as a songwriter began to bud in Rivers State, out of which his freshman EP arose – ‘OVO,' which was produced by Big Marcus of Inner Production. Since then, Kome has been working to produce a body of work which would show the world how he interprets different genre of instruments Africa. He has now put out his first album ‘King of Hearts' that contains 14 songs in (2021).
The 'King of Hearts' Album delivers a series of conscious collaborative tracks with Artists like Shank and BlackLion. Tracks such as ‘Off My Line,’ Bleeding’ and ‘Mad Oh’
Other collaborators include Teddy A from Big Brother Nigeria and collaborated with Producers like JackTheMusicNerd and OneManBand.
Also in the album is Byno; Arguably one of the best vocalists in the afro soul hemisphere on ‘Bleeding’ - making the album well worth the wait!!!
